CO-OP COUPLES CONFERENCE
Magnolia Electric Power Association
is proud to honor young agri-business
co-op couples in our service area.
Nominations are
sought each year through our Board
of Directors for the annual
Co-op Couples Conference, which is
generally held in July in Louisville,
MS. Couples from across the state
attend a three-day
meeting which is presented by the Mississippi
Council of Cooperatives, a non-profit
educational association of cooperatives.
The conference is sponsored by cooperatives
serving in Mississippi. Cooperative
leaders from across the state lead
discussion groups focusing on the manner
in which co-ops operate and the variety
of products and services they offer
to their membership. The breakout sessions
include:
- Agri-financing marketing of products
- Board/management relationships.
- The closing ceremony features an
inspiring speaker
- Awarding of certificates and special
recognition
